حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أبَو الزُّبَيْرِ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَق

ُولُ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِضَبٍّ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ وَقَالَ إِنِّي لَا أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ مِنْ الْقُرُونِ الَّتِي مُسِخَتْ

English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me, he said: 'I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: "A lizard (dabb) was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and he refused to eat it, saying: 'I do not know — perhaps it is from the generations that were transformed.'"'
