حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَقِيلٍ أَبُو عَقِيلٍ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَقِيلٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ حَدَّثَن
ِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا مَيْتَةً فَلَهُ فِيهَا أَجْرٌ وَمَا أَكَلَتْ الْعَافِيَةُ مِنْهَا فَهُوَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ

English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Abu 'Aqil — Abu 'Aqil's name is 'Abdullah ibn 'Aqil — narrated to us, Hisham ibn 'Urwah narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Rafi' narrated to me, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما), who said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever has land, let him cultivate it. If he cannot cultivate it himself, let his brother cultivate it. And let him not rent it out.'"
