English Translation

Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Muhammad — meaning Ibn Rashid — narrated to us, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from 'Ata', from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما), who said: "We used to acquire slave women from the war spoils of the polytheists with the Prophet ﷺ. We would practice 'azl (coitus interruptus) with them. We asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about that, and he said: 'Do you really do that?' repeating it three times. 'There is no soul that is destined to exist until the Day of Resurrection except that it will come into existence.'"
