English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us — that he asked Jabir: 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: If the son of Adam had one valley, he would wish for another?' Jabir said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: If the son of Adam had one valley of gold, he would wish for a second. And if he had a second, he would wish for a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust. And Allah accepts the repentance of whoever repents.'
