حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْقُلُ مَعَهُمْ الْحِجَارَ
ةَ لِلْكَعْبَةِ وَعَلَيْهِ إِزَارٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ الْعَبَّاسُ عَمُّهُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي لَوْ حَلَلْتَ إِزَارَكَ فَجَعَلْتَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْكَ دُونَ الْحِجَارَةِ قَالَ فَحَلَّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ فَسَقَطَ مَغْشِيًّا عَلَيْهِ فَمَا رُئِيَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ عُرْيَانًا

English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Zakariyya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Dinar narrated to us, he said: 'I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: "the Prophet ﷺ used to carry stones with them for (the rebuilding of) the Ka'bah, while wearing his izar (lower garment). His uncle al-'Abbas said to him: 'O nephew, if you would untie your izar and place it on your shoulder beneath the stones (to protect yourself).' He untied it and placed it on his shoulder, and he fell unconscious. After that, he was never seen unclothed."'
