Hadith #14

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ طَافَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِيَرَاهُ النَّاسُ وَلِيُشْرِفَ وَيَسْأَلُوهُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ غَشُوهُ
English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: "the Prophet ﷺ performed tawaf during the Farewell Hajj around the Ka'bah on his riding mount, and between al-Safa and al-Marwah, so that the people could see him and he was elevated above them, and so they could ask him questions, for the people had crowded around him."
