English Translation
Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr — that he asked Jabir about a man's servant when the servant spares him hardship and heat [by cooking his food]. He said: the Prophet ﷺ commanded us to invite him [to eat with us]. If one dislikes that the servant eat with him, then let him hand him a morsel or two from the food.
