حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا أَقَالَ النَّبِيّ

ُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الطِّيَرَةِ وَالْعَدْوَى شَيْئًا قَالَ جَابِرٌ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ كُلُّ عَبْدٍ طَائِرُهُ فِي عُنُقِهِ

English Translation
Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr who said: I asked Jabir: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ say anything about omens (tiyarah) and contagion (adwa)?' Jabir said: 'I heard him say: Every person's fate (ta'ir) is around his neck. And there is no contagion (adwa), no evil omen (tiyarah), and no ghoul.'
