حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنْ الْقَتِيلِ الَّذِي قُتِلَ فَأَذَّنَ فِيهِ سُحَيْمٌ قَالَ كُنَّا بِحُنَيْنٍ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى ا

للَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُحَيْمًا أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فِي النَّاسِ أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ قَالَ وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ قُتِلَ أَحَدٌ قَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَتَلَ أَحَدًا

القتيل الذي قتل فأذن فيه سحيم

English Translation

Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us who said: I asked Jabir about the man who was killed and Suhaym announced it. He said: We were at Hunayn, and the Prophet ﷺ commanded Suhaym to announce among the people: 'Paradise is only for a believing soul. And indeed, Allah supports this religion with a sinful man.'
