حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي الشَّعْبِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَنَّ الْجَزُورَ وَالْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ
English Translation
Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, Mujalid ibn Sa'id narrated to us, al-Sha'bi narrated to me, Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) narrated to me: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ established the practice (sunnah) that a camel and a cow count as a sacrifice on behalf of seven people."
