Hadith #57
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا أَبْصَ
رْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى رَاكِبًا فَقَالَ نَعَمْ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ قَدْ اشْتَرَى نَاقَةً لِيَدْعُوَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهَا فَكَلَّمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَكَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ دَعَا لَهُ

English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, he said: "I asked Jabir (رضي الله عنه): 'Did you see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray while riding?' He said: 'Yes.' Then a man came to him who had prayed and could not be heard by his companion beside him. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'You have risen from a private conversation with your Lord, so look at what you conversed about.'"
