English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Bakr ibn Sawadah narrated to us that a freed slave of Jabir ibn Abdullah informed him, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by them while they were picking arak fruit and said: 'Take the black ones, for they are the best.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, it seems you have herded sheep.' He ﷺ said: 'Yes, and is there any prophet except that he has herded them?'
