English Translation

Mu'awiyah — meaning Ibn 'Amr — narrated to us, Abu Ishaq — meaning al-Fazari — narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no Muslim man or woman, nor believing man or believing woman, who falls ill except that Allah sheds his sins from him as the leaves fall from a tree.'
