حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِ
عَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ عَنْ الصَّفَا حَتَّى انْصَبَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي سَعَى حَتَّى إِذَا صَعِدْنَا الشِّقَّ الْآخَرَ مَشَى
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Ja'far ibn Muhammad narrated to me that he heard his father narrating that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) narrating about the Hajj of the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "Then he descended from al-Safa, and when his feet reached the bottom of the valley, he jogged (ramal) until he ascended (out of the valley)." Meaning: during the sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah, the Prophet ﷺ walked briskly in the low area between the two green markers.
