English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us — and 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith from Ibn Jurayj — he said: Abu al-Zubayr narrated to me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "If one of you enters a town (or land), let him say: 'O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they shade, Lord of the seven earths and what they carry, Lord of the devils and those they lead astray, Lord of the winds and what they scatter — I ask You for the good of this town and the good of its people. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of what is in it.'"'
