حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَدَأَ بِالْحَجَرِ فَرَمَلَ حَتَّى عَادَ إِلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا
English Translation
Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Ja'far, from his father, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began at the [Black] Stone and performed raml [brisk walking] for three circuits and walked [normally] for four circuits.
