‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مَالِكٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَعْفَرٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِيهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏بَدَأَ بِالْحَجَرِ فَرَمَلَ حَتَّى عَادَ إِلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا ‏

English Translation

Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Ja'far, from his father, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began at the [Black] Stone and performed raml [brisk walking] for three circuits and walked [normally] for four circuits.
