English Translation

He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that i read to 'Abd al-Rahman: Malik — and Ishaq narrated to us, Malik informed us — from Ja'far, from his father, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he descended from al-Safa, would walk until he reached the valley floor, and when he started ascending he would walk briskly until he came out of it.
