حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ فَلَمَّا انْتَهَى قَالَ مَا مِنْ غَدَاءٍ أَوْ عَشَاءٍ شَكَّ طَلْحَةُ قَالَ فَأَخْرَجُوا فَلْقًا مِنْ خُبْزٍ قَالَ مَ
ا مِنْ أُدْمٍ قَالُوا لَا إِلَّا شَيْءٌ مِنْ خَلٍّ قَالَ أَدْنِيهِ فَإِنَّ الْخَلَّ نِعْمَ الْأُدْمُ هُوَ قَالَ جَابِرٌ مَا زِلْتُ أُحِبُّ الْخَلَّ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ و قَالَ طَلْحَةُ مَا زِلْتُ أُحِبُّ الْخَلَّ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ

English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Muthanna ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Talhah ibn Nafi' narrated to us, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ took his hand to his house. When they arrived, he said: 'Is there any food or supper?' — the narrator was unsure which — he said: 'I sent for bread and meat, and he ate, and I ate. Then he performed wudu for Dhuhr. Then he prayed Dhuhr.' Then the remaining food was brought, and he ate. Then he stood and prayed 'Asr without performing wudu.
