حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ م
َا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا قَالَ فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي بَيْعِهِمَا وَإِنْ كَذَبَا وَكَتَمَا مُحِقَتْ بَرَكَةُ بَيْعِهِمَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ مُحِقَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مِثْلِهِ قَالَ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا

English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi and Ibn Ja'far narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah — Ibn Ja'far said in his narration: he said: I heard Abu al-Khalil — from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Hakim ibn Hizam (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'The two parties to a sale have the option as long as they have not separated. If they are truthful, their transaction is blessed. But if they conceal defects and lie, the blessing of their transaction is erased.'
