English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Abbad al-Makhzumi, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Sa'ib, that the Prophet ﷺ opened the Fajr prayer on the day of the Conquest and recited Surah al-Mu'minun [23]. When he reached the mention of Musa and 'Isa, he was overtaken by a cough and he bowed.
