حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ الْمَخْزُومِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فِي الْفَجْرِ فَقَرَأَ بِسُورَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذِكْرَ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ أَصَابَتْهُ سَعْلَةٌ فَرَكَعَ
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Abbad al-Makhzumi, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Sa'ib, that the Prophet ﷺ opened the Fajr prayer on the day of the Conquest and recited Surah al-Mu'minun [23]. When he reached the mention of Musa and 'Isa, he was overtaken by a cough and he bowed.
