Hadith #310

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي وَفِي ظَهْرِ قَدَمِهِ لُمْعَةٌ قَدْرُ الدِّرْهَمِ لَمْ يُصِبْهَا الْمَاءُ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ الْوُضُوءَ
English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Abi al-'Abbas narrated to us, Baqiyyah narrated to us, Bahir ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from Khalid ibn Ma'dan, from some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man praying without placing his nose on the ground [during prostration]. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If this one were to die in this state, he would die upon other than the millah of Muhammad ﷺ.'
