Ḥasan narrated to us: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us: Zabbān narrated to us, from Sahl ibn Muʿādh, from his father [Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī] (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ who said: 'It is the right of the one who stands at a gathering that he greets them, and it is the right of the one who stands to leave a gathering that he greets them. The first is no more entitled to it than the last.'
