Hadith #430

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ زَبَّانَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ الضَّاحِكُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَالْمُلْتَفِتُ وَالْمُفَقِّعُ أَصَابِعَهُ بِمَنْزِلَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ
English Translation
Ḥasan narrated to us: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us, from Zabbān, from Sahl ibn Muʿādh, from his father [Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī] (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ who used to say: 'The one who laughs during prayer, the one who turns around, and the one who cracks his knuckles — they are all at the same level [of blame].'
