English Translation
Ḥasan narrated to us: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us: Zabbān narrated to us, from Sahl ibn Muʿādh, from his father [Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī] (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ that he passed by some people who were standing on their riding animals and mounts. He ﷺ said to them: 'Ride them safely and leave them safely. Do not use them as chairs for your conversations in the roads and markets, for many a ridden beast is better than its rider, and remembers Allāh more than it.'
