حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْحُومٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُع
َاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْفِذَهُ دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ مِنْ أَيِّ الْحُورِ شَاءَ

English Translation
ʿAbdullāh ibn Yazīd narrated to us: Saʿīd narrated to us: Abū Marḥūm narrated to us, from Sahl ibn Muʿādh, from his father [Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī] (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Whoever suppresses his anger while he is able to act upon it, Allāh will call him before all creation on the Day of Resurrection and give him the choice of whichever of the maidens of Paradise he wishes.'
