حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُقْبَةُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّ
َهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَفَلْنَا مَعَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَزْوَةِ خَيْبَرَ فَلَمَّا بَدَا لَهُ أُحُدٌ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ

English Translation
Abū al-Yamān narrated to us, saying: Shuʿayb informed us, from al-Zuhrī, saying: ʿUqbah ibn Suwayd al-Anṣārī informed me that he heard his father — who was among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ — say: We returned with the Prophet ﷺ of Allāh ﷺ from a military expedition. When we arrived, he ﷺ said: 'Those of you who have swift mounts, go ahead to Madinah, and those who have slow mounts, stay behind and come to me [for supplications].' Then he prayed Maghrib, and after the prayer he said: 'The people have arrived and they have not said or done anything since the evening except that they said: There is no god but Allāh alone with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things.'
