حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ الْحُبْرَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ
اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمْ الْفُجَّارُ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ أَلَمْ يُحِلَّ اللَّهُ الْبَيْعَ قَالَ إِنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ فَيَكْذِبُونَ وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَيَأْثَمُونَ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us: Abān narrated to us: Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr narrated to us, from Zayd, from Abū Sallām, from Abū Rāshid al-Ḥubrānī, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Shibl al-Anṣārī (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Recite the Quran, but do not be excessive with it, do not neglect it, do not eat by means of it, and do not seek to increase [worldly gain] through it.'
