حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْد اللَّهِ بْن أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ ب

Body (Matn)

ْنِ حَنْبَلِ بْنِ هِلَالِ بْنِ أَسَدٍ الشَّيْبَانِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى نَعْلَيْنِ فَأَجَازَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation

Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ʿAbdullāh ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Ḥanbal ibn Hilāl ibn Asad al-Shaybānī narrated to us, saying: My father, may the mercy of Allāh be upon him, narrated to me: Wakīʿ narrated to us: Sufyān narrated to us, from ʿĀṣim ibn ʿUbaydillāh, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah, from his father [ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah] (رضي الله عنه) who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'There will be leaders after me who will delay the prayer. So pray the prayer at its time, then pray with them and make it a voluntary prayer.'
