English Translation

Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us: Yazīd ibn Khuṣayfah narrated to us, from al-Sāʾib ibn Yazīd (رضي الله عنه) — if Allāh wills — that the Prophet ﷺ wore two coats of mail on the day of Uḥud. He narrated it to us another time without saying 'if Allāh wills.'
