حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ شُرَيْحًا الْحَضْرَمِيَّ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ ذَاكَ ر
َجُلٌ لَا يَتَوَسَّدُ الْقُرْآنَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي السَّائِبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Ādam narrated to us: Ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us, from Yūnus, from al-Zuhrī, from al-Sāʾib ibn Yazīd (رضي الله عنه) that Shurayḥ al-Ḥaḍramī was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: 'That is a man who does not use the Quran as a pillow.' — meaning he does not sleep the night away but rises to recite it.
