‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سُفْيَانَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ‏ ‏وَسَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُنَادِيَ فِي ‏ ‏أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ ‏ ‏أَنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ ‏

English Translation

ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, from Sufyān, from ʿAbdullāh, meaning Ibn Abī Bakr, and Sālim Abū al-Naḍr, from Sulaymān ibn Yasār, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Ḥudhāfah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to call out during the days of Mina: 'These are the days of eating and drinking, and no one should fast.'
