حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَمَّهُ أَبَا صِرْمَةَ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ غِنَايَ وَغِنَى مَوْلَايَ
English Translation
Yazīd narrated to us, saying: Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd informed us that Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Ḥabbān informed him that his uncle Abū Ṣirmah (رضي الله عنه) used to narrate that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to say: 'O Allāh, I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue.'
