حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَلَّقَ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ثُمَّ رَاجَعَهَا

English Translation

Abū Salamah al-Khuzāʿī narrated to us, Bakr ibn Muḍar narrated to us, he said: Mūsā ibn Jubayr narrated to me, from Abū Umāmah ibn Sahl ibn Ḥunayf, from ʿĀṣim ibn ʿUmar, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ divorced Ḥafṣah bint ʿUmar. Her maternal uncle or her uncle came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'What is the matter with Ḥafṣah?' So the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ took her back. And it was said to him: 'Take Ḥafṣah back, for she fasts and prays, and she is one of your wives in Paradise.'
