حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُرَجَّى بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَلْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَوَادَةَ بْ
نَ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَأَمَرَ لِي بِذَوْدٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي إِذَا رَجَعْتَ إِلَى بَيْتِكَ فَمُرْهُمْ فَلْيُحْسِنُوا غِذَاءَ رِبَاعِهِمْ وَمُرْهُمْ فَلْيُقَلِّمُوا أَظْفَارَهُمْ وَلَا يَعْبِطُوا بِهَا ضُرُوعَ مَوَاشِيهِمْ إِذَا حَلَبُوا

English Translation
Abū al-Naḍr narrated to us, he said: al-Murajjā ibn Rajāʾ al-Yashkurī narrated to us, he said: Salm ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to me, who said: I heard Sawādah ibn al-Rabīʿ say: I came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him, and he ordered that a she-camel be given to me. Then he said: 'When you return to your family, tell them to take good care of their animals and to trim their nails from harming their livestock when milking.'
