حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ هِنْدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ الْأَ
سْلَمِيِّ عَنْ هِنْدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى قَوْمِي مِنْ أَسْلَمَ فَقَالَ مُرْ قَوْمَكَ فَلْيَصُومُوا هَذَا الْيَوْمَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتَهُ مِنْهُمْ قَدْ أَكَلَ فِي أَوَّلِ يَوْمِهِ فَلْيَصُمْ آخِرَهُ

English Translation
Yaʿqūb ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, he said: my father narrated to us, from Ibn Isḥāq, who said: ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Bakr ibn Muḥammad narrated to me, from Ḥabīb ibn Hind ibn Asmāʾ al-Aslamī, from Hind ibn Asmāʾ, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ sent me on an errand. I said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, outfit me.' He said: 'Come.' So we came to one of his wives, and he said: 'Give him the garment from the storage.' They gave me a cloth garment. Then we came to another wife and he said: 'Give him the garment from the storage.' They gave me a cloth garment. He said: 'Take this, wrap one as a lower garment and one as an upper garment.'
