English Translation
Al-Ḥakam ibn Nāfiʿ narrated to us: Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh narrated to us, from Abū Shaybah Yaḥyā ibn Yazīd, from ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Makkī, from ʿAbd al-Wāḥid ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Naṣrī, from Wāthilah ibn al-Asqaʿ, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'A Muslim is sacred to another Muslim: his blood, his honor, and his wealth. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim: he does not wrong him and he does not forsake him. Piety is here' — and he gestured with his hand to his heart. He said: 'It is enough evil for a person to look down on his Muslim brother.'
