حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا يُقَالُ لَهُ رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الدِّيلِيُّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّ
هِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَمُرُّ فِي فِجَاجِ ذِي الْمَجَازِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُمْ يَتْبَعُونَهُ وَقَالُوا هَذَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ قَالَ وَرَجُلٌ أَحْوَلُ وَضِيءُ الْوَجْهِ ذُو غَدِيرَتَيْنِ يَتْبَعُهُ فِي فِجَاجِ ذِي الْمَجَازِ وَيَقُولُ إِنَّهُ صَابِئٌ كَاذِبٌ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا قَالُوا هَذَا عَمُّهُ أَبُو لَهَبٍ

English Translation
ʿAbdullāh narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn Bakkār narrated to me: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn Dhakwān narrated to us, from his father Abū al-Zinād, he said: I saw a man called Rabīʿah ibn ʿAbbād al-Dīlī, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ passing through the pathways of Dhū al-Majāz, and they were following him and said: 'This is Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib.' A cross-eyed, handsome-faced man with two braids was following him through the pathways of Dhū al-Majāz, saying: 'He is a ṣābiʾ, a liar!' I said: 'Who is this?' They said: 'His uncle Abū Lahab.'
