قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّه
ُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ كَانَ حَلَبَ وَصَرَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا أَدْرِي أَسَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ أَوْ حُدِّثَ عَنْهُ

English Translation
Sulaymān ibn Dāwūd narrated to us, he said: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father, that he came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he had milked and tied [the udders of his she-camel]. Sulaymān narrated to us from Shuʿbah from Muʿāwiyah, he said: My father used to narrate from the Prophet ﷺ, but I do not know whether he heard it directly from him or was told about him.
