English Translation

ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿAmr narrated to us, he said: Khālid ibn Maysarah narrated to us, Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah narrated to us, from his father who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade these two foul plants and said: "Whoever eats them, let him not come near our mosque." And he said: "If you must eat them, then kill them by cooking." He said — meaning onion and garlic.
