ُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي وَقَدْ كَانَ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ

English Translation

Ḥusayn ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, he said: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Muʿāwiyah Abū Iyās, who said: I heard my father — and he had met the Prophet ﷺ, who wiped his head and sought forgiveness for him.
