English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, he said: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ who said regarding fasting three days of each month: "It is the fast of a lifetime and its breaking."
