قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ شَكَوْا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقَرْحَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَقَالُوا كَيْفَ تَأْمُ
رُ بِقَتْلَانَا قَالَ احْفِرُوا وَأَوْسِعُوا وَأَحْسِنُوا وَادْفِنُوا فِي الْقَبْرِ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةَ وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا قَالَ هِشَامٌ فَقُدِّمَ أَبِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْ اثْنَيْنِ

English Translation
Ismāʿīl narrated to us, he said: Ayyūb narrated to us, from Ḥumayd ibn Hilāl, from Hishām ibn ʿĀmir who said: They complained to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ about the wounds on the day of Uḥud and said: How do you command us regarding our dead? He said: "Dig, make the graves wide, do it well, and bury two and three in a single grave, and put forward the one who memorized more Qurʾān." Hishām said: So my father was put forward before two others.
