حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ أَتَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِي وَجَع
ٌ قَدْ كَادَ يُهْلِكُنِي فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْسَحْهُ بِيَمِينِكَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَأَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ مَا كَانَ بِي فَلَمْ أَزَلْ آمُرُ بِهِ أَهْلِي وَغَيْرَهُمْ

English Translation
Isḥāq ibn ʿĪsā narrated to us, he said: Mālik narrated to us, from Yazīd ibn Khuṣayfah, that ʿAmr ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn Kaʿb informed him, from Nāfiʿ ibn Jubayr, from ʿUthmān ibn Abī al-ʿĀṣ who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came to me while I had a pain that had nearly destroyed me. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to me: "Wipe it with your right hand seven times and say: 'I seek refuge in Allāh's might and power from the evil of what I feel.'" He said: I did that and Allāh removed what was afflicting me, and I have never ceased commanding it to my family and others.
