حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُجَاشِعِ بْنِ مَسْعُود
ٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِابْنِ أَخٍ لَهُ يُبَايِعُهُ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا بَلْ يُبَايِعُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ وَيَكُونُ مِنْ التَّابِعِينَ بِإِحْسَانٍ

English Translation
Abū al-Naḍr narrated to us, Abū Muʿāwiyah — meaning Shaybān — narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from Yaḥyā ibn Isḥāq, from Mujāshiʿ ibn Masʿūd, that he came to the Prophet ﷺ with a nephew of his to pledge allegiance for hijrah (emigration). the Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is no hijrah after the conquest (of Makkah), but rather jihād and intention. If you are called to go out (for battle), then go out.'
