English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Abū Saʿīd — the freed slave of Banū Hāshim — narrated to us, Zāʾidah narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr narrated to us, who said: I heard Shabīb Abū Rawḥ — from Dhū al-Kalāʿ — from a man, who said that he prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ became confused in some of the recitation. When he finished, he said: 'If only you would perfect your ablution. What is wrong with people who confuse us in our recitation?'
