Hadith #75
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لِقَوْمٍ مَنْ وَحَّدَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى وَكَفَرَ
بِمَا يُعْبَدُ مِنْ دُونِهِ حَرُمَ مَالُهُ وَدَمُهُ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ يَزِيدُ بِوَاسِطٍ وَبَغْدَادَ قَالَ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us, he said: Abū Mālik al-Ashjaʿī informed us, from his father, that he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying to some people: 'Whoever declares the oneness of Allāh تعالى and disbelieves in whatever is worshipped besides Him, his wealth and his blood become inviolable, and his reckoning is with Allāh عز وجل.'
