حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أُمِّهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَغْلِبَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ عُشُورٌ إِنَّمَا الْعُشُورُ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى
English Translation
Jarīr narrated to us, from ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib, from Ḥarb ibn Hilāl al-Thaqafī, from the father of his mother — a man from Banū Taghlib — that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'There is no tithe upon the Muslims. The tithe is only upon the Jews and Christians.'
