قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ خَالِهِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ
النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ لَهُ أَشْيَاءَ فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ أَعْشِرُهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا الْعُشُورُ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى وَلَيْسَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ عُشُورٌ

English Translation
Abū Nuʿaym narrated to us, he said: Sufyān narrated to us, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Ḥarb ibn ʿUbaydillāh al-Thaqafī, from his maternal uncle, who said: I came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned some things to him. He asked him and said: 'Shall I impose the tithe on them?' He said: 'The tithe is only upon the Jews and Christians.'
