حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ خَلَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى
اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَقَالَ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آمُرَ أَصْحَابِي أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ

English Translation
Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from ʿAbdillāh ibn Abī Bakr, from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Abī Bakr ibn al-Ḥārith, from Khallād ibn al-Sāʾib ibn Khallād, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "Jibrīl عليه السلام came to me and said: Command your companions to raise their voices with the talbiyah." Sufyān said on another occasion: "Jibrīl ﷺ came to me and commanded me to command my companions to raise their voices with the talbiyah."
