قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ رِجَالًا لَا أُعْطِيهِمْ شَيْئًا أَكِلُهُمْ مِنْهُمْ فُرَاتُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ قَالَ مِنْ بَنِي عِجْلٍ

English Translation

Yaḥyā ibn Ādam narrated to us, he said: Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from Ḥārithah ibn Muḍarrib, from some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to his Companions: Among you are men to whom I give nothing, yet I trust them more. Furāt ibn Ḥayyān, he said, from Banū ʿIjl.
